This November, CDA recognizes National Family Caregivers Month by honoring the estimated 4.5 million caregivers in California who dedicate their time and energy to caring for their loved ones.
The California Department of Aging has created a toolkit that highlights the essential role of local Caregiver Resource Centers and Area Agencies on Aging in providing support and services to family caregivers. The partner toolkit is a great way to engage with caregivers and build stronger community support for those who care for loved ones. CDA’s new caregiver resource webpage is also a great tool to check out. Please help us raise awareness about caregiver challenges by sharing this content and resources.
