Information about depression and review of coping skills. Introduction of CBT triangle and exploration of maladaptive thinking.
The USC Family Caregiver Support Center, in collaboration with Independence at Home (A SCAN Community Service), presents a new series focused on strengthening family caregivers’ mental health. Topics will include stages of grief, the Cognitive Behavioral Triangle, pain management techniques, and learning coping skills. Presenters provide one-on-one therapeutic services at Independence at Home. Family caregivers are encouraged to attend the full series.
This session focuses on giving information about depression and reviewing coping skills. Introduces CBT triangle and engages participants in completing a worksheet that explores maladaptive thinking.
