Event Details
During these unsettling times, it is paramount that we embrace and maintain “Community,” within and beyond familiar walls. In light of this, Knox is launching a Family Caregiver Support Group.
Consider this question: Are you or have you been a family caregiver, meaning someone caring for a spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, neighbor, etc.? If so, you are invited. This support group is open to the community, you do not need to be a LACRC client to attend.
In a confidential setting, group meetings offer family caregivers an opportunity to get & give support, learn from one another’s experiences, discuss solutions to common issues and acquire needed resources.
Meeting dates and times are:
11:30am to 1:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month on the Knox Zoom site (until further notice).

The Knox Resource Center Family Caregiving Network is directly connected to the University of Southern California School of Gerontology – Family Caregiver Support Center and will service the family caregiving members of Knox Presbyterian Church as well as our neighbors from the greater Ladera Heights Community.
