Annual CALM Conference 2023 (Original)

Our 23rd Celebration of National Family Caregiver Month this year is giving us all permission to take a breather. Family caregivers have a well-earned reputation for always being on the go, for doing it all (and then some), for having all the answers (or at least knowing how to get them), and for charting a path to get whatever is needed done. Phew! We’re tired just thinking about all you do. So, we thought of what might help you most, and it’s not “doing more”; rather, it’s learning about the power of putting things on pause. Yes, it may sound impossible or, at best, counter to how you have kept it all going, but we think you’ll get a lot out of what we’ve got planned for you. It’s all about slowing down, practicing self-care, surrendering in ways that will energize you and give you back more joy.
